The evolved version of the Fader ND

ND 500 to ND 5000 … approximately 9-12 stops of added density.

 

Originally designed for sun eclipse video shooting, it is mostly used for super slow shutter speed to avoid capturing unwanted moving objects.

 

For best results, suggested use is under 200mm focal length as image quality may drop when used beyond this length.

 

ND may vary according to focal length:

Ultra wide angle (24mm or below) approximately 10 stops.

Standard angle (25mm to 70mm) to telefocal length (71mm or above) approximately 12 stops.

 

Further rotation of the filter may cause an “X-cross effect” to appear on image.
